This AC WORKS brand 10 ft. super-duty extension cord is used with transfer switches, generators, industrial construction, and EV trickle charging. It is a NEMA 5-15P to NEMA 5-20R. The cable is an SOOW, 10/3, 30 Amp copper wire with a 600-Volt rubber jacket and will reduce voltage drop over long distances. This rubber jacket stays flexible in cold weather. The NEMA 5-15 plug’s construction is rated for both 15A and 20A, allowing you to plug this cord into both amperage outlets. When using a 20 Amp outlet, the cord can operate at up to 20 Amp. If using a regular 15 Amp outlet, it will only operate at up to 15 Amp. Included with your purchase is a 5-year limited warranty.
